Echo Hill Staff

Pastor Bill Warhover: My wife Donna and I live in Robins. They have three grown children (Matt, Erin, and Martha), a daughter in law (Cathy) and son in law (Tim) and three grandchildren (Ian, Aidenn, and Lily). They love to be outside – gardening, walking, grilling, kayaking, and camping (well at least one of them likes camping). Bill served churches in St Louis, MO and Miles, IA before coming to Echo Hill.

Katie Lowe LancasterI am excited to be joining the Echo Hill faith community as the Director of Christian Education. I am a native of Marion, growing up on a farm that if you look out the windows on the west side of the church you can just barely see the silos. Today I live on the retired family farm with my husband John and our six children, son-in-law and grandson. Currently I am finishing up my seminary degree with a Master’s of Divinity with a concentration in Youth and Family Ministry. In my previous ministry setting I served as Director of Children’s Ministry.

James Thompson: I joined the staff at Echo Hill in September of 2009 and feel very blessed to be a part of this church family. Being at Echo Hill allows me to do something that has shaped my life: Worship God through the making of music. In addition to Echo Hill, I am a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Iowa, the Assistant Director of Choral Activities at City High School in Iowa City, and serve as Adjunct Professor of Voice at Cornell College in Mt. Vernon. Faith, family, and music are the pillars of my life, and I thank God often for my wife of almost three years, Maria. In our free time, Maria and I are avid fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes, and enjoy attending football games and wrestling meets.
