Connecting in Faith with God, Community, and Relationships for Everyday Life.
The visioning concepts of Welcoming, Caring, Growing, and Generously Giving alter priorities somewhat in that, yes, we are still about being part of groups. However, we can not limit emphasis only to “small groups”. We recognize that we can seek and find God-purposed meaning for relationships in Public, Social, Personal, and Intimate interactions with others. Its not about us.
Echo Hill Member, Dana Sindelar – says that Dave Ramsay’s course, “Financial Peace University” is ” LIFE-CHANGING with valuable information for all ages.” It is being offered beginning September 7th at St. Mark’s Life Center for $99 for the 13 week course offered on Tuesday evenings. You may enroll on line. See further information at the Welcome Center. Sign up is necessary 6 weeks before the class is due to begin. That’s right away!
Young Families! Please contact Amy Seegers or Mary Virnig on “facebook” to see “what’s up”. Amy and Mary are “all about” playtime for toddlers and babies; while still finding time for adult conversations, too.Talk to them soon!
NEW NEW NEW for Fall!
Beginning September 19th; Connections Ministries will begin a six week discovery experience in “Conversations with God” on Sunday Mornings. (We may also investigate a weekday evening time, should there be interest. Do let us know!) We are seeking facilitators/learners – two people (a facilitator and an apprentice) - for each Sunday. The format is simply talking about prayer and how to proceed by faith in listening and relating to God. See Marvalee if you’d like to relate and learn in a “no-experts-here” venue.
Good News: Chronological Bible Study will continue this fall as a discussion time facilitated by the group members.
Echo Hill is on a journey…… and it is great to be traveling with you!
